Budd Built train sets in service between New Orleans and Los Angeles on
August 20th 1950. The Sunset Limited operated daily in each direction on a
42 hour schedule as a 15 car train

Coach, 44 Seat Coach (3), Coffee
Shop Lounge, Dining Car, Club Lounge, 10-6 Pullman (5), 10-6 Pullman Blunt End
