By popular demand and in consultation with NYC experts the Hudson line-up has been modified & expanded to encompass a wider range of configurations these engines had throughout their careers on the New York Central Railroad.  All Versions are Un-Streamlined.   Modernized Versions generally include relocated Sand Dome with Exposed Sander Valves.  Top mounted LS Boiler Feed Water Check Valve, Worthington FWH, Externalized Power Reverse, RS, With Elevated RS Running Board.  The Line-up:

The Southern Pacific placed beautiful Budd Built train sets in service between New Orleans and Los Angeles
on August 20th 1950.  The Sunset Limited operated daily in each direction on a 42 hour schedule as a 15 car
train consisting of the following cars:  Baggage Mail, Baggage Dorm, 48 Seat Coach, 44 Seat Coach (3),
Coffee Shop Lounge, Dining Car, Club Lounge, 10-6 Pullman (5), 10-6 Pullman Blunt End Car.
